One of the wives in the det, Amy, invited me to join her class of Japanese students for lunch on base. This is a real treat for them to get to come on base. The local Japanese people are very curious about the base that is located in their city. We had a wonderful lunch and then did a gift exchange. They showered me with gifts just for joining them. I was very honored by their generosity.
