Tokyo Disneyland

Today is labor day and although it is an American holiday, it isn't a Japanese holiday it is their first day of school for the second semester. We have heard that Disneyland can be incredibly crowded (like most places) and lines can be super long. We were hoping to be smart and go on a not so crowded day. It turned out to be a great day to be there. There was an 80% chance of rain, but the showers held off. We took the train there and it drops you off almost at the front gate. The park itself is smaller than Disneyland in CA but has most of the same rides. It was actually very similar. One of the biggest differences was the Pooh ride which was much cooler. It is the only "trackless" ride and you seem to float above the floor. It was awesome. The food was also very different.

Here we are right after we got in the park. Disneyland Tokyo is celebrating their 25th anniversary.

This is us posing in front of Cinderella's castle. Nice stroller that we rented huh?

Chad and the girls were going by far the fastest of anyone else on the ride. I would have been sure to get sick on that one.

One of the girl's favorite rides is the Go-Coaster in Toontown.

Right after we got off the Go-Coaster the Big Bad Wolf and the Pigs were out. Allie really like them and wanted a picture with them.

The Jubilation parade was fantastic. We got great seats and I loved watching how fascinated the Japanese people are with Mickey and Minnie and all the characters. They go crazy for them.

Next time we will check out Disney Sea which is the sister park right beside Disneyland.
