Next Visitors,..Kim and Tori

After Heather and Adriana left then Kim and Tori came to spend the week with us. We had a very relaxing time together. Kim was so helpful watching the girls while I did my running. They came with us to swim lessons, soccer, and all the other activities the girls had going on. Tori and Allie have a very special relationship. Allie loves being the older one and was very cute to watch interact with Tori. Lauren tended to be a little mothering with Tori.

Here are the girls in La Jolla for a picnic. The weather was fantastic and it felt like summer. Kim and I had a great dinner over on Shelter Island and watched a beautiful sunset. Funny how all my visitors are pregnant.

Beach Clean up - Daisy Scouts

Lauren's Daisy troop partnered up with a brownie troop to do a beach clean up. We met by the lifeguard stand had ice cream sandwiches to get us moving and then started down the beach to clean up. Surprisingly there was not much trash at all. The clean up quickly moved on to beach play time.

Heather and Adriana's Visit

Heather and Adriana came in from Chesapeake, VA to visit us for the weekend. Heather is pregnant with her second (they say it is a boy) and looked fabulous. Adriana was so fun with the girls. Friday night we got a babysitter for the girls and went out to dinner with Meredith and Krissy to one of my favorite spots, George's Ocean Terrace.


Saturday we took a picnic to Balboa Park and you would never guess how chilly the day was based on what the girls were wearing. We also went to the puppet show. It was so awesome to spend time with them.

Evening with the Mullin boys

Condra (my running partner) and Joe had a much needed date night. The boys came over for dinner and here we are walking home from Moo Time. We all had some really yummy ice cream.

Beckers in Town

Joel and Christy Becker with kiddos Jack and Michael were in town visiting Coronado with Joel's brother and girlfriend. We had a great time hanging out with them. On Friday night we all got together for a beach party cook out. Joel and Christy are coming to VRC-30 in about a year and I think will love it as much as we do.
